Education and experience required for hospitality management jobs depends on many factors, from the size and type of establishment to the level of the role. Despite a sluggish economy, Americans continue to travel (staying at hotels or taking cruises), dining out (eating and drinking at restaurants, bars and nightclubs), and engaging in other entertainment related activities such as (gambling at casinos or attending sporting events). And, as the population ages, nursing homes and assisted living facilities are also seeing an influx of residents. Consider this snapshot of employment projections within the hospitality industry:

The National Restaurant Association expects employment within the food service industry to increase to 14.3 million professionals by 2022.

The American Gaming Association reports that casino jobs have increased more than 70 percent over the last 22 years. This incredible pace is expected to continue.
