About Us

Ortega is a tapas bar and cantina that captures the spirit and passion of a fun fuelled night out in a Spanish city. Fiesta to the sounds of salsa and flamenco, feast on tapas, sip a Sangria and soak up the atmosphere. It's just like being on holiday, only without the annoying plane ride home afterwards.

Cantina
We've called it a cantina as we want you to relax and enjoy your meal, just like they do in Spain. There's no rush, no fuss and no rules. You can eat as much or as little as you want and sharing with your friends is positively encouraged. In fact, we have dishes that allow you to do just that. 
The menu? We've taken the best of Spain - from tapas to paellas - and added in some sizzling grill dishes and amazing desserts. There's something for everybody but don't worry if you can't decide (we know it's hard) as there's an Ortega platter of our six best selling tapas to allow you to sample a little of everything.

Bar
If wine is your thing then we've got the best of Spain - from Navarra, Tempranillo and La Mancha plus lots of Rioja - alongside some big flavoured South American numbers. Likewise, we have the best Spanish beers - San Miguel and Cruzcampo on tap and four types of bottled Alhambra from Granada. For a taste of traditional Spain there's a selection of Sangrias and if you're in the fiesta mood you might want to cast an eye over our cocktail selection.
