The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier private clubs, founded in 1868 and located in
Central Park South in Manhattan, is seeking a full-time Banquet Manager. The candidate for this position
will assist the Director of Catering and Special Events in all the aspect of banquet functions, supervising union
employees, preparing schedules for captains, wait staff, and banquet houseman, prepare payroll and employee
attendance reports, assist with designing floor plans, communicate, assign, and delegate responsibility and
authority for service of catering events to banquet service staff. Coordinate food, beverages, table arrangements,
decoration, outside vendor services and assuring completion as specified by client.
The candidate must have 2-3 years experience in Private Club or Hotel and have at least 3 years management experience.
