Must have a strong handle on payroll, cleanliness, menu development and possess good supervisory skills, be an accomplished leader and hold a strong desire to continuously improve and develop product, self and team. The Banquet Chef will oversee all banquet food leaving the kitchen to upscale multiple banquet facilities ranging from 10 to 500 guests.
* Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them.
* Minimum 5 years cooking experience required. Hotel industry culinary experience is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills a must.
* Excellent associate relations skills.
* Previous management experience in kitchen of 2 years.
* College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred
