Job Description


The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. 1. Greet guests warmly and friendly, offer assistance, handle guest requests, including escorting guests to their rooms and helping with luggage. Supply guests or travelers with directions, travel information and other information, such as available services and points of interest.
2. 2. Transfer luggage, trunks and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles or transportation terminals by hand or using baggage carts.
3. 3. Transport guests about premises and local areas, or arrange for transportation. Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs. Explain features of room such as operation of television, telephone, in-room movie system, etc.
4. 4. Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning and fueling.
5. 5. Raises, lowers and ensures proper handling of American flag.
6. 6. Maintains front porte-cochere and lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to, ashtrays, trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, by picking up trash, cleaning oil leaks, shoveling snow, melting ice, hosing off sidewalks, etc.
7. 7. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
8. 8. Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional, maintain positive working relationship with others and support team to reach goals. Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
9. 9. Position’s hours could potentially include nights and weekends.
10. 10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education – High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience – Hospitality industry or other applicable experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications – Must have a current driver’s license; must pass background driving record.
