Corporate Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

As digital marketing manager, you will play a vital role in managing our digital marketing channels and tactics for our 5 Meritage Collection resorts. From strategy to execution, this role is pivotal in helping to connect our guests to our hotel brands. The ideal candidate has experience that spans SEO, e-commerce, paid search/display advertising, analytics, and project management.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Own the Meritage Collection website channel and be the steward of digital experience, balancing creativity with analytic rigor
  • Supervise website content management, UX, technology development, promotion alignment, process optimization, system integration and data integrity
  • Identify ways to optimize key website traffic and revenue metrics including pageviews, bookings, bounce rates, time on site and other engagement KPIs
  • Implement strategies to increase traffic and bookings through SEO
  • Develop standards and practices for landing page optimization and multivariate testing
  • Partner with resort marketing teams and agency leads to create highly targeted digital advertising campaigns that meet aggressive engagement and revenue objectives
  • Partner with property revenue management and marketing teams to deploy booking engine and marketing funnel optimization initiatives
  • Establish measurement framework and reporting standards for all digital marketing efforts
  • Be the steward for compliance with all regulations surrounding website marketing activities, including WCAG 2.0 and CAN-SPAM requirements.


Job Requirements:


  • 5+ years of e-commerce and/or digital marketing experience with a track record of managing B2C digital marketing channels
  • Experience in hospitality marketing, with a focus on luxury resorts, highly preferred
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required
  • Analytical mindset with experience delving into data and identifying opportunities through multivariate testing and landing page optimization
  • Solid command of SEO strategies and tactics
  • Proficiency in digital advertising strategies including paid search, programmatic display, retargeting and paid social media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Website copywriting experience a plus
  • Familiarity with the SynXis booking platforms is ideal, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  Must be able to lift/move and exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/IT equipment.
