Waterford Hotel Group has a current portfolio of 19 hotels in 8 states with over 3,600 rooms. Our properties include select-service hotels, extended-stay hotels, full-service hotels and conference centers.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Sales at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, CT, and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. The Director of Sales, reporting to the General Manager, is responsible for the Sales and Marketing functions of the hotel including soliciting of accounts, nurturing and growing client relationships/business, consistently up-selling the hotel's rooms to meet or exceed set sales goals, budgeting, forecasting, advertising, and the creation of the marketing/business plan. Individual will adhere to all established booking reports and file maintenance procedures. The Director of Sales will strive to exceed all guest/client expectations.

- Prior Hotel Sales Management Experience

- Strong Communications Skills

- Previous Marriott experience a plus.
