Concord Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our hospitality team at one of our new select service hotels in the Greater Edina Minnesota area. Property has approximately 100 newly constructed guest rooms and operates under a national brand flag. Leader should have experience in managing an operations, F&B and sales team in a thriving Midwest market. Prior experience with a hotel opening and first three year ramp strongly desired.
The Ideal Candidate

This may be the role for you! The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in full service operations, national brand experience preferred.
As one of our General Managers, you will be instrumental in leading and developing an award winning management team supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the brand, our owners and with the management company in facilitating brand standards & training, meeting operational deadlines on project timeliness, providing attention to detail in scheduling & ordering CAPEX, and networking with city officials as the “face” of this hotel in the market. Prior experience in opening, renovations or repositioning preferred.
General Manager Overall Job Summary: Administers, directs and controls all the operations of the hotel. Accountable for achieving budgeted revenues and profit margins while in accordance with established objectives, policies, and procedures. Our GM’s are active leaders and are highly involved in guest interaction, associate engagement in training and motivation, as well as serve as role models for our company in the community through involvement in city organizations and networking.

Must have 5+ years HOTEL GM Experience in select service
Prefer Candidate to have experience in extended stay and prefer Hilton brand experience with understanding of brand standards, brand reporting, brand support services, etc
Must have strong understanding of cost controls, staff development, and asset protection
Candidate needs strong experience in ramping a new hotel to include overseeing sales & marketing efforts, staff training on brand standards, internal audit adherence, and overall ability to provide exception guest experiences
