The Radisson Hotel Group is embarking on a 5-year plan aimed at transforming the way we engage with guests throughout their travel experience. We see digital technologies as powerful tools to help millions of guests plan their travel, enjoy their stay, and keep connected post trip. Our digital team is seeking a Manager, Digital Content who will be responsible for on-time delivery of critical digital content. The right person for this role will:

• Manage the content workflow for the Americas, while support global initiatives
• Optimize existing content to improve search results and ranking
• Work towards company objectives to drive online business, and improve conversions rates through a better online experience
• Implement localization strategies and ensure content is optimized for a global audience
• Have strong people skills, be easily able to connect and work with anyone
• Be driven, never satisfied with the status quo and always working to get better

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Digital Content team (2) and ensure a good management of stakeholders
  • Support global marketing teams with both B2B and B2C customers
  • Ensure all digital content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for online channels of content including desktop and mobile, with suggestions for social media, email, conversion and video
  • Partner with global digital teams on the development of a functional content calendar throughout the enterprise verticals, and defining the owners in each vertical, resulting in aligned content to various channels
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce best practices
  • Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
  • Establish work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Work with technical teams to ensure CMS product evolves to industry best practices.
  • Partner with global teams to develop a consistent global experience and implement appropriate localization/translation strategies
  • Work closely with Global Digital Product and Digital Acquisition teams to align all marketing and development initiatives across digital channels
  • Liaise with counterparts in the EMEA and AsiaPac offices on content needs and development projects
  • Manage, consult and collaborate on numerous projects to better the online experience
  • Adhere to style guidelines, UX principles, processes, and established standards for quality, scope, and usability of content
  • Ensure content is accurate, functional, and relevant
  • Translate complex processes into simple, clear, end-user focused content solutions
  • Keep current on the latest techniques and share best-practice examples with global content team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in e-commerce and leading teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with content for a global audience
  • Ability to set clear goals and quantitatively measure them
  • Skills to gather ideas and feedback from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage vendors
  • Capable of working collaboratively across teams and departments, with minimal supervision
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
