Job Description

Job Overview

The Stowe Mountain Club/Real Estate Sales Assistant will support the Spruce Peak Realty (SPR) sales team in Stowe, VT. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for the contract administration and closing coordination for all resale properties at Spruce Peak. The candidate must have strong communication skills to coordinate with sellers, buyers, attorneys, lenders and appraisers to carry the sale from contract to closing. The position is also accountable for Stowe Mountain Club membership sales, procuring new members and coordinating the pertinent agreements/payments for various membership opportunities. Candidate will work closely with the sales team to coordinate interaction with clientele. Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, while keeping close attention to detail is a must. Various other duties as assigned including but not limited to database management, reporting and general office support.

Essential Functions
  • Manage the contract & closing process for resale real estate transactions, working together with buyers, attorneys & lenders, in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing and the Sales Executives.
  • Manage and track Club and Real Estate inquires through SalesForce database and other internal reports; Develop and maintain Club sales collateral.
  • Maintain correspondence, including phone calls and emails with prospect network; tour prospects and participate in open house events.
  • Maintain listing agreements, resale contract & closing documents, accurately update the MLS with listing information, and other information for resale listings; facilitate resale collateral.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owners, members and prospects.
  • Provide general sales office assistance including front desk support during busy periods, assist with database management and backup to weekly sales and marketing reports.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience.
  • Must hold a Vermont Real Estate Salesperson License preferred (if not, must be willing to obtain license within six months of hire).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Individual must be articulate and be capable of interfacing with high end clientele maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain fiduciary obligations and responsibility to SPR.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.     
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work both with a team and independently, with minimal guidance.
