Silverado Resort and Spa is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Reservations Agent (Full Time). The Reservations Agent is responsible to accurately input individual and group reservations into the property management system while tracking occupancy statistics and current in-house status to facilitate maximum occupancy. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Answer department telephones; assist callers with social lodging reservations.
  • Perform data entry, including entering group blocks of sleeping rooms and group rooming lists into the computer.
  • Input and ensure accuracy of package breakdowns.
  • Prepare group account list.
  • Post and track advance deposits.
  • Maintain travel agent file.
  • Calculate no-show rooms revenue.
  • Provide information regarding guests and groups to Front Office associates.
  • Perform general office duties including typing, data entry, filing, and answering telephones.
  • Provide support to operator, front desk, and bellstaff as needed and directed.

  • This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of six months of job-related experience preferably within a full service hotel/resort/conference center.
  • Computer literate: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Adaptable to learning new and customized software programs
  • Adept at managing fast paced environment and putting people at ease
  • Warm, personable and energetic demeanor with professional and pleasant phone manner
  • Comfortable interfacing with a diverse group of individuals
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, identify problems, and seek solutions and follow up and follow through with a variety of tasks
  • Dedicated to exceeding service standards and providing services and standards to the highest caliber.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to work variable shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
