QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. One year restaurant experience. Cash handling experience. Pleasant phone personality. Excellent communication skills. Ability to read, write and speak clearly and accurately in English.
Answers phone and handle telephone orders in a professional manner. Input data into Micros system. Makes change while keeping an accurate and secure bank. Make copies of all paperwork and check daily. Keep clipboard full. Keep shelves stocked in back room with nuts, crackers, sodas, etc. Ensure that there are never less than six memorandum books. Organize wine room, empty all beer, wine, liquor and soda boxes unless otherwise marked. Read money logbook. Responsible for ordering of office supplies, including pencils, pens, paper, Micros paper rolls, etc. Polish glasses. Order and stock bar with cocktail napkins, stirrers, straws, etc. Order when low on cherries, green olives, onions, lemons and limes. Keep inventory on all liquor mixes, such as Bloody Mary Mix.
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. Help out in other areas of food and beverage as needed. Makes and wraps amenity baskets. Cleans and organizes the work area. Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule. Any other task, written or verbal, assigned by Management.
Well lit, climate controlled kitchen area. Moderate to frequent exposure to loud noise levels. Some odors from food preparation and/or cleaning products.
