is looking for a Sales and Social Media Manager to:
Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
Create and manage all published content
Ensure consistency and standards for each company's social media platforms
Create and manage promotions and social media campaigns
Create posts specifically designed for each platform in terms of language and visual presentation.
Keeping up to date with social media best practices, trends and new features on each platform.
Monitoring emerging trends and learning new tools and applications as they become available.
Developing and evaluating effective benchmarks to measure the impact of our social media marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with DOSM to work on backside of Vanity Website.
Manage calendars and proactively organize time as required using expert judgment and discretion.
Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis, including managing and tracking projects.
Collaborate with the DOSM to set strategic direction for the Business Travel market.
Outside Sales calls are required, and the expectation is that 40% of time will be spent on outside sales calls.
Manage and develop specific key and new accounts
Handle a portion of the SMERF market.
Negotiation of contracts for corporate rates and monitor the accounts according to established annual room night objectives.
Manage all RFP process through the use of Lanyon
Independently responsible for achievements of sales objectives outlined in the action plans-definite room night production, revenue targets, as well as Sales activity goals.
Effective and clear communication with support staff as well as other departments in order for contracted business to be executed successfully
Actively participate in prescribed sales training
The development and solicitation of business from the Business Traveler Market to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel.
Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new business traveler marketing strategies.
