Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION: The Storeroom Agent is a reliable person who demonstrates math, computer (including all electronic control systems) and verbal skills. The ability and desire to learn and eagerness to take on duties are also important.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
  • Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 50 lbs. (NOTE: food and non-food items).
  • Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on a computer.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Detail stock taking and reporting in Excel Format Placing orders based on agreed amounts from Chef Communicating "out of stocks" to the Supervisor. Filling and delivering requisitions. Maintaining cleanliness of storerooms and coolers. Assisting the Shipping/Receiving Clerk when needed. Putting away deliveries and rotating products. Special handling of various perishable food stocks. Awareness of food specifications. Rotating stock when deliveries are received. Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observed violations to Human Resources. Maintain the highest level of employee/guest relations. Maintain a good working relationship with all Departments.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule. Any other task, written or verbal, assigned by Management.
