Bridgeton Holdings LLC operates a portfolio of hotels across the continental United States. Based in New York City with offices in San Francisco and St. Louis, it runs its properties under its Walker and Cloverleaf banners, also operating independently labeled and major chain hotels.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, goal-driven and passionate Vice President to lead the sales and marketing functions of our Company. Reporting directly to the Director of Hospitality, the VP of Sales and Marketing provides effective leadership and strategic direction to all sales & marketing activities to drive profitable business growth. As a member of the Executive Team of Bridgeton, this position plays a crucial role in defining and executing company strategy. The VP of Sales & Marketing acts as role model, motivator, team leader and culture builder and fosters adherence to Bridgeton's core values. The VP of Sales & Marketing leads a team of professionals to develop and achieve short and long term marketing & sales plans in support of the Company's growth strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hires, develops and retains a high performance sales & marketing team
  • Manages the sales process which includes revenue management, sales training, mentorship, performance measurement and management
  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Effectively partners with the Senior Leadership Team to develop, align and execute the overall company strategic business plan.
  • Develops and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
  • Strengthens the marketing function including portfolio management, product marketing and marketing communications.
  • Leads the development of the overall Company's growth plan and supporting marketing & sales strategy including growth strategies by market and geography.
  • Directly manages major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
  • Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
  • Strengthens Key Account Management and Opportunity management capabilities, leverages CRM systems (Salesforce) and drives best practices.
  •  Serves on planning and policy-making committees.

Job Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience required.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven record of success managing a sales organization in a rapidly growing/dynamic market(s)
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior level and executive management
  • Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Experience in Key Account Management
  • Ability to travel frequently
